RP Hooks
So how would you approach Eph? Here's some hooks to get you started:
Ishgard | Born in the Holy See, she's rarely seen beyond Coerthan lands. For her to be found anywhere else is a rarity.
On Patrol | She can mainly be found in the Coerthan lands, making her way from Ishgard out.
Reputation | As part of the Celestial Choir, her name is whispered amongst those who have been saved from the most severe Coerthan winters.
For the Faith | Raised in the church of St. Reymanaud's from birth, Ephria has met many an individual of all walks of life. If you wish for Penance, she'll gladly grant it, one way or another...
Music | Ephria has some musical talent, mostly as a singer. With training, she could be encouraged to be a mesmerizing performer.
Personality | Shy and reserved, she shrinks away at any attention, and is humble to a fault about her talents and abilities. However, something changes in her once a lance is placed in her hand...
Intimacy | As someone who was taken advantage of often in the church, she's very slow to trust a new person. But, maybe if you went slow, she might be willing to open up.
Aetherial Prescence | Those who can read the energy of Aether around an individual could pick up on an icy coating of hers.

Personality
Shy and reserved, Ephria is a proper, polite young lady. Her first lesson of the Clergy was to ensure that she never spoke unless spoken to first. When allowed to speak, she's always honest to a fault. Her mind is curious, though, and she would dive into not just her devotional prayer books, but what the Scholasticate could offer to her. Her knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking Elezen and Garlean fluently provided to be a great boon in ensuring accurate scripture translations. However, her personality is always guarded, and often stutters when she speaks when around those she must keep a professional distance from. Her aversion to being singled out makes her very awkward.
Appearance
Standing 5'10" (not including her ears), Ephria can stand shoulder to shoulder with her fellow Elezen Sisters, and stands heads above her Hyur Sisters. Fair skin always flushed and bright light Grey eyes take in the world with all the zeal of a child when out from the Convent walls. Her hair is usually swept back on her right side with braids, and when possible, she decorates her ash blonde locks with a Black Oldrose. Normally clothed in her Religious Habit, she'll occasionally forego the formal garb for simple modest clothes when outside of her duties. Don't be fooled by her lithe figure, she holds a strength that can match the men of the Ishgardian army when a weapon is placed in her hand. Accent reminiscent of French Canadian, her voice is soothing and cultured, taking dialects and accents from the gamut of Ishgard, from Nobility to Brume commoner.

History
Found on the steps of St. Reymanaud's Cathedral in Ishgard, Ephria was taken in by the church. The convent sisters quickly realized that the needs of a Veena baby were quite different from those of a Hyur or Elezen. They were no stranger to longer lifespans, but Ephria would age incredibly slow compared to her peers. Being the only Viera in the convent, her childhood was one of recognizing how much she stood out to her peers. Many would gawk and stare and her, and whisper rumours behind her back. Still, she would find solace in the words she would study from Halone, and she would take her words of always fighting to heart. As she aged, Ephria would find herself conscripted to the Celestial Choir - a sect of the Ishgardian Military composed of nuns who wished to fight by their male counterparts. In training, she would hone her skills with a lance, finding herself excelling at the weapon. Equal parts both deadly and graceful, many would start to take notice of her in more than just her aptitude in training. Her work was noticed by a superior, who soon signed her off to have her own simple private quarters above the Cathedral in the attic. There, she would explore the labyrinth of the upper levels, finding nooks lost to time. Her voice would echo through the rafters, and be a comforting sound to those who would strain hard enough to listen. However, her training would take a toll on her, and many of the men in the military would turn to her to seek physical release. What wasn't explained to her that as part of the Celestial Choir, the men of the military had free use of the women of the Choir for carnal needs, and soon she would be sought out and used by them, filling her seen as a trophy. This would spiral the poor Veena into depression, barely legal and barely her own person. She would scour the tomes and papers of former Choir and Military personnel alike. Finding nothing noting the abuse, she spiraled into a depression, unsure of what to do or who to speak to. She needed a release, and soon took her daily devotions to masochistic extremes, inflicting pain on herself by whipping herself and keeping a band of thorns on her thigh. Her increasing uncanny ability to always wear a smile would help hide her pain, her sorrow, and her will to fight back. It had not dawned on her that she was failed by the words of faith that should have protected her.Until one day, as she was making her way through the upper parts of the Vault, a man would approach her. As he would start groping and undressing her, a sudden icy spark ran up her spine. She had had enough. Her faith, after decades of devotion, of pain, of sorrow from the twisted doctrine the men of the Church would use against her, would be rewarded by Halone herself. In that moment, she reached for the man's blade, and in a swift motion, she would impale him on it. The entirety of the event would be hazy in her mind, but she knew that through her, Halone worked her justice through her daughters. Her hands would be guided by something more, and it would give her a purpose. Not long after, an Eorzean Lalafell would approach her. Kind eyes, big smile, and a shocking pink beret. She would ask for Ephria's help, a guide through the lands of Coerthas and beyond. Soon, she would be joined by a young Elezen with bright blue eyes, and so she gave them the protection of the Choir until they found their way to House Foretemps, where they got the blessing of the head of the household. Ephria would keep the band of adventurers company through the lands, enthusiastically talking about the history, the conflicts, and the want to help where she could.Nowadays, she can be found on patrol in the snowy plains of Coerthas, Dravania, the Sea of Clouds, The Churning Mists, and Azys Lla. She'll return to Ishgard often, and ensure her devotion to Halone is as strong as it was the day she was taken under Her wing. Her strides and decisive strikes to foes portray a fervor now tinged in frost. Though try as she might, her body and mind now crave connection. Thus, she's started to travel outside of Ishgardian lands more and more...

OOC Information
Hi there! I'm a 30-something hailing from Canada who's an office worker by day and creative by night. I've dabbled in writing since my teens, and hold anything theatre and theatre-adjacent close to my heart. My most recent creative endeavor is roleplaying, focusing on short and long form story telling, mostly with my own cast of characters, but I'm always open for some collaboration. If you'd like, feel free to give me a poke on Discord. Search for ShantyLady and look for the pink owl with stars in her eyes.I also partake in the Crimes of the Highest Order, so if you'd like to see Aritria or any of my characters how I see them, feel free to ask me.
